FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ'S)
Q: What do I need if I want to Hire?
A: We would ask you to provide a form of I.D. This would be anything that contains your name and address. The best form of identification for us would be either a passport or a photographic drivers licence. However we will except a household bill, a NHS or a military personal card. If in any doubt just call us in advance
Q: Should I pre book items? A: It is always a good idea to call in advance to pre-book items as on most items we do only have one of each tool. If you live in Seaton we only offer hire there on a next day hire basis so all items must be booked a day before the piece of equipment is hired. Items can also be booked online simply by selecting the "book now" tab at the bottom of each hire page.
Q: Can you deliver & collect hire items?
A: We can deliver/collect any hire item free of charge either in the town limits of Ottery St Mary & Seaton. However in the surrounding towns & villages we charge an additional £5 to provide this service due to the ever increasing price of fuel.
Q: Will I have to Pay a deposit?
A: As a precaution against abuse of our equipment we do ask for a fully refundable deposit. The amount we require will differ from one item to the next depending on their value. The amounts we require are listed in this price guide
Q: What If I can’t return the item back in time?
A: We always try to be flexible to your needs. If you can not return the equipment by the time/date already agreed on hiring the item we would appreciate a call so we can keep track of our equipment. Any item deemed back late will be subject to an amount of the safety deposit being forfeited. This will be in the order of an extra day hire charge
A: Unfortuntly due to people's different needs and due to health & Safety we can not provide you with any such items included in the hire of the machine. However we can sell you the items separately on a sale and return basis.
